Hello I finally get off in time to do some work on my truck hook up hid lights and they dont work.. I checked the ballast because I bought 2 sets and still nothing what could be the problem and also any one has hids in the fog lights if so what number did you use I tried the 880's and they dont fit any info would be helpful....

 

Try switching the plugs. And I don't know what year your truck is but my fogs are 9005 bulbs.

 

its a 04 silverado I tried 880 suppose to be a cross referance 2 3157..

 

make sure you have the positive and neg. right. use a voltmeter to get the right polarity.

 

Thanks I figured it out I always thought that the black wire is negative,I guess we learn something new everyday...
