ok guys ive got a 99 silverado, and i was reading somewhere that i could put a heavy duty hood on my truck.
i did a search but didnt find anything.
will it fit? and what year heavy duty hood will fit?? thanks larry

 

99-02. direct bolt up no cuttin or trimmin involved

I have on on my 1/2 ton and let me tell you it looks sick too . It is a direct bolt on. For ordering it I just ordered a 2002 HD hood

 

you get it from gm? what did you pay if you dont mind me asking?

 

HD Hood is a direct bolt on. I just got my truck repainted (same color) and put in an HD Hood. Got a paint to match front bumper, smooth bumper cap and installed a Sir Michaels rollpan. Should be getting the truck back from the dealer today or tomorrow. I'll post pics later.

 

how much did you pay for your hood, did you get it off of like ebay or something or from gm??
