Default headliner diff color than interior?

I'm looking hard at finding me a suitable replacement for the Slownoma I'm currently pimpin. I've found an 04 Silvy that pretty much fits the bill, but in the pictures, the headliner is tan while the rest of the interior is the gray color. WTF? Is this stock or did the guy attempt a color change you think?

Assuming its stock, which is farking stupid, is recovering the stock one or getting a gray one from the Chevy house the easiest way to color match it?

the reason they do it, so i have been told, on the charcoal interiors they use a very light gray on the headliner to make the interior look bigger. on the tan interiors they just match it because its a light color to start with.

ah, gotcha. Thanks.

If I wind up with the truck, I dunno if I'll attempt to recover it myself or have someone with experience do it. Like I said, so far its just a strong contender in the running, but that color difference made me question it for a second. It has the Arrival Blue paint, which looks badass, but the tan headliner is just funky when combined with the gray interior and blue exterior.

I did mine in Suede... Took maybe 2 hours or so... Not too hard...

That looks pretty good. I didn't think about it until I saw your pic, but you gotta swap out the little console thing up there along with all the other stuff, ie visors, hangers, oh **** handles, etc. But it looks tons better than the tan.
