Could do a mail slot like on a gen V camaro, but that'll match the stock upper bumper. Should look good.

^way toned down near the edges of the upper rear part might just work

The holes will/would get a piece of sheet metal, that is fit to go around the inside, so it will not just be a hole with a edge. Not sure as far as whats going to go behind them( def not the ole chicken wire mesh) Already thought about the cowl, but it would look way out of place. The HD hood has weird body lines ( 2 inner lines) If they were not there, the hood was smooth from one side of the bubble to the other, then the cowl could possibly slide. Like I said just a thought nothing in stone. Just like being different

I would leave it alone. I also would not like on rare occasion when I drive my truck in the rain...

WINNING

As for the rain, they would be faced down once cut into the underside of the hood.

John, i cant see your pics on my phone but i"m sure whatever you end up with it will be clean, not tacky. I love the HD hood.

And there was a nbs sierra with an hd hood with a cowl on it years ago. I wasnt a fan of the look but it was unique

I actually liked that NBS with the NBSS HD hood. Was original and made the truck look super beefy up front. Only issue I had with it is that it made the truck look way to beefy up front while the rest of the truck didn't match the hood. Meaning it was like a body builder with chicken legs.

Body builders with chicken legs is ok, it's just a 80's thing
