Are most guys using a factory HD hood or going after market since they need to cut them?

I refuse to use aftermarket, had no prob cutting a HD hood up. They look better on the gmc's then the silvys LOL. Up in the northern area, that **** is not seen vs cowl hoods. I get fucked up looks, ?? all the time. ..

I preferred the GMC trucks (in GMT800 form) until I noticed the Chevy HD hoods (01-02 HD and 05-06 HD and all 07 Classic trucks). I only noticed because I started driving an 02' HD at work, which I eventually purchased (at a work discount) and have daily driven for the past 2.5 years (previous DD was a lifted 83' K5 Jimmy w/6.2 diesel).

I like the 99-02 Chevy's and 99-06 GMC's in all forms, but they all look much better with an HD hood.

Having seen your truck in person quite a few times Pat I can honestly say that it needs nothing!

I'm a big fan of the HD hood from head on and even a 3/4 shot but I hate the HD hood from a side view... just reminds me of a bad overbite lol.
