I think the HD hoods for 03-04 were the same as the 1/2 tons. Make sure you look for the 05+ HD hoods, they have the power bulge.

I been wanting those for a long time. They run pretty expensive that's whats keeping from doing it. Like mentioned above the 05+HD hoods are badass for stock appearance, looks like a cowl. If I buy one Im gonna try to make the hood fit without getting the grill too.

Someone on here with a black ss put the hd hood on and the only place it doesn't line up is at the top of the grill shell. I don't think he did anything and it bolted up and closed just fine, but there was just a small gap at the top of the grill shell. Unfortunatly, I don't remember who it was.

I knew the hood will align right on but wasn't sure why the grill was needed aslo. But if it's only a small gap and not that noticeable I think it can be done without the grill. Also If your picky might as well get the grill.

Hey Angel let us know what he says!

yea, ditto on that. for me its kind of hard to justify $800 to go to an appearance item when I can put that in my piggy bank for a LM turbo kit. then again I just dumped $1400 into SS wheels and good tires which are mostly for looks, lol
