actually yes, i am waiting for a sample intake tube. right now she has a few (1-2 weeks of) orders before me, and since the sample is free she wont stop production. thats fine i suppose. i am only concerned with the 90 degree elbow. i looked at a k&n bend and it was flattened a bit to clear the fan shroud. since i one vendor only supplied me with the 45 degree bend i dont know how tight the bend is and if it can be trimmed to fit like a champ or not. i will email her now and see what the timeline looks like,

nice, totally clean looking!!!
the pipe is aluminum which i wasnt expecting, but it could be great candidate for Anodizing.. im kinda thinking about doing mine red since my truck is red (but polished looks cool too).
right now, i really like the clean look of the rubber elbows from intakehoses.com vs the silicone hoses. even if they offered silicone elbows in black, i think the smoothness of the rubber just looks better than the wrapped silicone hoses. the rubber 90* on the throttle body has a bit of film on it. from what, i dont know. i will wash it off and check it out this weekend.

i will be taking opinions on what you guys would prefer, black rubber elbows (like in the 1st picture) or the look of the blue silicone hose (pictured above). hopefully tomarow i will be able to take a snapshot of the polished pipe on the truck. on another note, i de-screened my MAF.

till next post,
clint

I would go for black myself and I have no problems with rubber. I have seen black silicone hoses though if anyone really thinks they need black silicone.
