Not to hijack my own damn thread.....but what did you do differently from the dyno to the track? I'm guessing it was the addition of the spray to make all of that high end hp....

Scream.....for the first time in a while you've given me some hope. Your 1/8th trap was higher than mine, so you're 1/4 will no doubt better, but I did get a 7.40 the last 1/8 track I went to. Maybe there is hope for me and mid 11s

SSlow 4.8: the best b/f this weekend was only a 13.9 @ 101. I picked up quite a bit with the little 100 shot!

Slow...Here's a quick list of what mods I have done to the truck at Speedfab before the 11.5 run:
  • 4L80E swap w/ Yank 3200-stall converter and Transgo HD shift kit
  • 4" aluminum 3/4 ton G-van driveshaft
  • NX MAF kit (100 shot)
  • 4.11 gears, Eaton posi, T/A girdle
  • Cal Trac traction bars
  • Pacesetter LT's
  • dual 3" exhaust

The Pacesetters were put on before it went to the shop, but I didn't have any 1/4 numbers.

Here's a before/after comparison of my timeslips from the first time I ran w/ the LS1 swap, to my best motor pass and nitrous pass from this past weekend:

TIME----R/T----60'----330'----660'----MPH----1000----1320'----MPH
11:27---0.239---2.306---6.057--9.091--81.08--11.697--13.917--100.99

TIME----R/T----60'----330'----660'----MPH----1000----1320'----MPH
2:12---0.163---2.072---5.716---8.618---84.91---11.091--13.190---107.42
3:44---0.086---1.751---4.860---7.447---94.22---9.682---11.578---118.98

I can only guess that the dual 3" exhaust lost me some low-end torque but allows the motor to breathe really well up top. I don't care, it sounds WICKED!

Looks like I'm going to definately have to address my 60ft times. When I was running the truck all motor...I was cutting anywhere from a 1.72-1.90 60ft.
On my last/best 1/8th my 60ft was a 1.96(or something close to that) and it went 7.40@92.???mph. I had to increase the window switch ON pill from a 3000 to a 3400, and still got some wheel spin. I just wish I could launch off the spray one good time and have it stick. I think the time would be very decent.

I had the same issues when I put the Escalade covers on my 5.3, you can see where its hitting. I would like to see if the Escalade or SS tube is different also. Yeah its dirty too......

I have a set I'm not using. I wish I was though... I had trouble getting them on. I think that I need to remove my EGR valve first, ...and I'm not really up for doing a CPU tune. So let me know. It's brand new and I would like to recover some of the money I dropped on them. The center piece has the 6000 on it.

That's the way mine looks, but there is actually a 1/4 inch gap between the tube and the cover - they don't touch.

How does the fill neck come off? Is it just screwed in there? I'm worried I'll snap it off! Mine won't clear the cover either-
