I'm curious to hear this too. The Proxes S/T are the best tires I've ever owned. Much better than the previous Michelin LTX M/S in all regards. I think the STII's are hideous looking.

if u want to have a screwed up bed get the generals and when one of em blows out I'll hate to say I told u so.

I've got 255s on the front of mine on 7" wide rims. Personally anything over a 255 is gonna look too bulgy on a 7" rim, But u could go as big as 265s if u wanted. I'd do like a 255/60 or a 265/50

I think Generals are what came stock on my truck back in 2000. God those things were garbage. At 35,000 miles chunks of rubber were falling out.

I have those in 20"s and LOVE them. But the place I got them didn't advertise them in 17"s. Guess I'll have to stop in there new store down from my work and see what they can do there.

Great ride, Great wet/dry traction. Great wear. My right rear has almost the exact amount of rubber as the other 3

Should have specified. these are 17x7"s. is a 265 the widest you'd go on those?

Those Hankook Ventus come in a 285/60/17. if they'll fit on a 7" i'll probably get those.
I really like the way they hook on my 20"s
Also come in a 275/60

as Lady pointed out.

Not much cheaper than I paid for my 20"s. gave 135ea for them. the 275s are 116 and the 285s 122
