Default guage hookup

I just orderd a autometer tranny and A/F ratio guage for my truck and i was wandering if some could tell me how hard these will be to hook up and also if i need to get anything besides what comes with the gauges.

The tranny temp gauge is easy...there's a fitting for it on the driver's side right above the linkage. There is a little cap that you have to take out, but the sender that comes with the temp gauge will thread right in. Some of the guys on here told me that since they are both NPT you don't need any kind of selaer, but I put some on anyway. When I pulled the cap out I got just a tiny bead of fluid that came out, not the gush that I was expecting. No idea about the A/F gauge.

A/F gauge -
hook your 12v up to a 12v source,
ground the negative,
and take your sending wire to the Purple wire coming off of your front O2 sensor.
just hook to the driver side.. right before the cat.

Make sure it's a 12v source that's only hot when the key is on though....otherwise it will always be drawing power and run your battery down. I'm doing this same install over again on my truck, cause I just rigged things up temporary the first time. I'll take some pics if you want, cause I'm using an empty terminal in my fuse block instead of tapping in anywhere else.
