Default Got quoted on painted door handles

I went to Berglund Chevrolet, and I got a price of $43.50 for Drivers side handle, and $38.50 for passenger handle. These are painted Arrival Blue Metalic, is this a good deal ? Also, they say that they don't make Painted or primered Tailgate handles and Bezels. Do I just need to get it sanded down and painted or what?

By the way is the color of my Truck Arrival Blue?

they do make painted tailgate handles/bezels. they may not be in the right color for you. I know the SS pickups and the denali pickups come with them. even if they are not the right color they may be easier to prep and paint then a textured plastic one.

edit.....I found some GM part numbers I have for the painted bezel/handle...

Victory Red......tailgate handle 15188002
bezel 15187999

Pewter.....handle 15755401
bezel 15952896

Black.......handle 15997911
bezel 15056512

Thanks, I just looked it up and saw that Streetinspiredkustoms.com sells them for $99. At least now I know somebody sells them.

The rear bezel and handle are incredibly easy to prep/paint. Although, if you don't want to do it, they make Arrival Blue SS trucks in which case they also make arrival blue tailgate handles/bezels.

here are the arrival blue part numbers. I purchased from GMpartsdirect for my dads truck.

15093823 FLH Painted Arrival Blue
15093822 FRH Painted Arrival Blue

15188003 Tailgate Handle Painted Arrival Blue
15188000 Tailgate BezelPainted Arrival Blue

The door handles both have the keyhole.

Everything matched up just fine.

This is a good deal. I would not waste your time with SIK.

For your tailgate, you have a few options:
1. Get the part #'s for the Silverado SS or Denali handles. These come painted, but textured. I personally think they look like crap.

2. Have your handle pained to match. You can go to just about any dealership and find their "bumper and touch up guy". These are usually contractors who do small jobs for dealerships. You should expect to pay $30-$40 to have your handle sanded and painted.
