Default GMC Sierra "iroc" hood?

has anyone actually seen one of these hoods? all the pics i find are silverados.

What I actually want is a ram air/cowl combo. similar to the SRT-10 hood

Suncoast creations makes a ram air hood that Tom at Tbyrne used on his truck. They actually shaved the heat extracters off so it was just a scooped hood. Check out his site for pictures.

I'm still trying to find someone who's put the IROC hood on a GMC. Anyone?

Those hoods are sweet. I was very close to buying one last year. Couple things though. The issue I would have now is the S&B airbox I just bought is sealed so the ram air part wouldn't do me any good. Very cool hood though if I had an open element.

I like the cowl hoods but i don't like how skinny the cowl is. I think they could add 6" to each side of the cowl, that would be cool. The Iroc hoods look awesome but the only pics I can find are on Silverados which does me no good.

I saw a kick *** cowl hood on a 03-up Silverado that I want. It almost makes me want to convert my entire front end to a silverado. I'll try to find pics

i assume by IROC hood you mean this one?

what you COULD do is buy that, then have it cut to fit your truck. it's just like the people that cut the Silverado HD hoods to fit their GMCs.

yeh, the ss style of hood is great on ss camaros and not on trucks.. looks like a beanerfied honda. seriously just becuase they make it doesnt mean you have to buy it. of course its ultimately up to the purchaser, but dammit, il say it looks like shiet.

Just got on the net to try and find a better alternative to a cowl hood and found this post. Very cool hood...expensive too!
