Default Front end make-over part 1 (pics)

Got rid of the grill guard Friday and bought the Westin Bull-bar. Also swiped the all chrome grill off mom's 00 burban. I'm happy already with how it looks, still got clear corners, billet insert, and billet bowtie on the way. The only disappointment was that the lights would not fit in the bar using the mounting holes supplied, so I enlarged the front license plate holes on the bumper and stuck them close together.

After:

Yea, that looks tons better IMO! I like how it goes through the front valance by the tow hooks as opposed to underneath like the other pics we saw...that other version did hang kinda low.

So you decided to go with after all, uh! Looks good, very clean. You never know untill you see it up front. Looks different than those pictures I posted.

Not yet it's only temporary until I can find a good deal on one on ebay. I found one that went for $70 or so after shipping, but let it get away. All the ones that are listed now are going for 100+ after shipping.

Yep, thanks for the pics. The one that mounted under the valance was just the plain bull bar I guess, the one I got was the ultimate bull bar. I had to lose the tow hooks, but I never use em anyway.

Better hope you never get stuck. But looks great just get some clear corners billet grill and bowtie and it'll look sweet.

Glad to see you bit the bullet and did the bull bar. Looks really good compared to the full brush guard. By the way what size tires are you running on the truck?? I'm gettin stuck on which size to use as an upgrade on my burb.

I think that looks much cleaner/ more modern IMO. Great job with the collaboration of parts/ idea. I always thought of the bull bar as more of a rugged, younger generation thing......the brush guard just reminded me of grandpa and a few guys across town with slammed f150's that had every chrome aftermarket accessory on them...including the brush guard and tail light guards Anyways, looks awesome.
