Question Front bumper removal?

My front bumper (the factory black part) was repainted a little over a year ago and is getting redone for free next week. It was painted the same color as my truck, but now the paint is beginning to chip in a few places. All I have to do is bring it to the body shop removed. Has anyone removed just the black part of the bumper before? I heard there were 6 clips to remove in order to get it off. Can anyone help me out?!
Thanks guys

On mine (2003) there are about 20 little plastic clips that hold it on all the way around the bumper. You will need to take the bumper off to get to them, there are 6 main bolts to get the bumper off, it doesnt take anytime at all.

I removed the whole bumper and removed the bottom and top piece to have my bumper powder coated. took me all of 2 min to remove the top piece. just need to sqeeze the inserts so that it pops out of the hole. the bottom one is a little more involved. there are 2 steps to those clips. just use a small screw driver and pry up on the little insert, and then when you get it about half way out. pull the whole thing out. there are quite a few on the bottom tho. cant remmember exactly how many. just remember there was alot.
hope this helps.
oh and the are only 4 bolts holding the front bumper on. plus 1 on each end if you remove the grill. you can get to the top 2 real easy, and then you can go from the bottom for the bottom 2. I had an air gun which made it very fast and simple.

I will remove it in auto-tech class on Monday... air tools rock Thanks for the offer to help, I will take you up on it if I run into any major problems (pretty sure I wont). I will take a look at it on Saturday and see if I have any more questions.
