Default Front bumper cap?

I asked my body shop if they would paint my front bumper cap. They responed. "Yes, we are not going to stand behind it though because of the texture. Even if sanded and preped properly it might last ten months or ten years". Has anyone had any luck doing it this way? If not where do I get a paintable cap? Thanks

They do have a point. Painting plastic is always risky. I painted mine myself and its only been a few months but its doing fine.

if you have a 2000 you can get one for a suburban. i have painted many text. top pads and one let loose that was 18 months old. i would allways recommend buying a paintable part when aval.
