Default Fog light help

I got the factory fog light kit for my 99 silverado, i got it all wired up and everything, and the instructions say that i have to take the truck in and have it programmed for the lights to work. I called the dealership and they said that it would be no problem, but they also said that it would cost $75.00. So i was like " WTF, i just paid 125.00 for the kit and now they want me to pay another 75.00 just to make it work?" I don't think so, do you guys have any way around that? Any help would be great.

you gotta pay in the amount of time it takes for the tech2 to work it's magic for every half hour i believe. call around and see what different dealers say...or find someone with a tech2. i'm in the same boat you are.
