It happend on the interstate, I was running about 65 and saw it with plenty of time. I mashed the brakes but he still timed me just right. I hit it doin probably 35 or 40. The front bumper was rubbing the left front tire, so I had to pull over and do some quick body work just to get off the highway. I hope I at least sent him to the inside wall so somebody else didn't hit it. Just sucks cause were moving to Oregon in 2 weeks. Not the best time for something like this to happen. But then again it never is.
Smashed list:
bumper
grill shell
radiator support
power steering cooler
possibly a fog light
posssibly a headlight

as others have pointed out.... don't replace, upgrade!

When a guy cut me off/caused me to rearend him, I had the same damage as you, as well as the fender and hood. After getting the insurance check (insurance company did the estimate to put back to stock), I was able to do all the upgrades I did (bumper cover, projector headlights, HID fogs, and cowel hood) while actually walking away WITH SOME LEFT OVER!

edit: side note. If your PS cooler is scrapped, I have two options/suggestions

1) install the f-body liquid-to-liquid cooler (this is what I did) as it works MUCH better (quicker warm up and more constant temp)
2) I have my truck cooler I'm not using (never got around to tossing it out)

Rear ended, Guy 4 cars ahead slammed on his brakes to cut across 2 lanes and turn, everyone stopped fine except for the drunk, stoned, driver of a K-5 blazer that locked up his brakes and smashed my driver side rear corner. He didn't even realize he had broke his door window out and blamed my rear tail light for all the glass on the ground. Well yeah i got it all fixed, new bedside, new rollpan, tailgate was ok which didn't make sense because i figured it was done for, but it opened fine except for the bumper kinda preventing it from opening all the way. Also i got a free set of decals for it. The side Silverado ones for on the cab, and the rear CHEVROLET for on the tailgate (package deal for vin from dealer). I just never had them installed.

There is what happened, not trying to steal your thread or anything

sucks man, glad you're ok. i wish someone would hit me and hurt my car but not me, i need new paint. i had a local cop ridin' my *** hardcore a couple nights back late at night (i was f'in pissed cuz i would get pulled over for ridin' someone else that close) when a deer wandered into the road. i slammed the brakes and the cop barely missed me and ended up leaving the road and into a ditch cuz he was so close. i almost wish he had royally slammed my rear just so i could bitch him out and get a big fat insurance check.

I Agree.
I'm not a very religious person, but when a cop is doing that to me I start praying for a deer to run out. What's the point in having tag lights if the cops blind anyway?
