Is the 4.8 the strongest motor to boost? Just wondering why chevy chose that motor over all the others for the joe gibbs.

chevy didnt choose it joe gibbs converted those trucks

they chose the 4.8 because it was the only v8 wiht the 5speed

gibbs provides thesame warranty but ithink you have to deal wiht gibbs for warranty info
