Thanks, the tailgate top is flaking a bit since I use the bed rather often, but it still looks good from a distance 
The headlights are tinted with vht niteshades (the same stuff I used on my taillights). A better way to do it, which I wish I had thought of this earlier, would have been to paint just the orange reflectors and put them back in.

Have you thought about perhaps coating or putting some non-skid "tape" on the top?
While 100% silver looks the best, having something up there might look really good as it is "intended" to be there (if you follow my thinking).

The top of the tailgate cap is in pretty good shape, just the outside of the tailgate is chipping it a bit at the bottom, you can see it in the pics if you look carefully. My entire bed is sprayed in toff liner which is very good, so I'm not too concerend with the inside that no one every sees.
