Default Fatmat???

Not sure if this goes here but has anyone done any sound deadening to their cabs?? I have the whole interior stripped out of my truck (WRECKED) so I was thinking about laying Dynamat down but that stuff's expensive and I found this stuff www.fatmat.com They claim its better and its obvioulsy cheaper. I was just wondering if anyone has used it before. BTW, I would be getting the Fatmat Mega Fatpak (100 sq ft) and the hood liner (not sure which one) for my Domination II cowl induction hood. THANKS!!!!

I have in my truck. It works just like Dynamat. Unlike Dynamat, you have to put up with a smell in your truck. I really like it and the price is hard to beat.

I looked into the fatmat but ended up using the B-Quiet Extreme instead. It works pretty good but did not cut down as much exhaust noise as I had hoped it would.
btw.. be prepaired for some sore fingers and forearms if you do the entire floor, doors and walls.

If you have the money, go with Dynamat.

Money is definitely the reason I'm considering the fatmat. They claim its just as good. I've always been real skeptical about Dynamat because it seems like they almost have a monopoly on the market because its the usually the only name you hear.

My freind won alot of car stereo competitions and he used stuff he found at home depot that was like one eighth the price of dynomat and it worked great.

I ended up going with a combination of Dynamat Extreme and some generic brand, can't remember the name though.

I went ahead and ordered the 100sq ft of fatmat, it should be here by 9/15. So once I get my truck together I'll let you guys know if its worth it.
