I have done some research on this topic recently. I have found a GM part Number (12498843) that supposedly is a 6-lug version of the HD aluminum wheel. I dont know if this is true or not but the part does exist. Maybe someone in a parts department can see if this is true. I looked it up on gmpartsdirect.com and it does exist but no pictures.

Has anyone searched this and found a picture of the wheel? I have been assured that there is a forged aluminum wheel in a 6 lug pattern in the HD style. If so, I want these wheels.... they are awesome looking on the HD's.

Anyone... I have been searching this one on gm-truck.com also and they have hit the same wall. It is hard to believe nobody can get a picture of this wheel. I think I am going to try to get a dealer to order one to see what it really is......

Sorry, I posted above but I had the part number wrong. It should be 12498842. If you go to the link below it does show a pretty promissing description. Id be willing to consider these wheels. Maybe someone who is good at photoshopping would be willing to do so to my truck. Keep us informed.

You can also go to www.gmpartsdirect.com, click on accessories, then accessory parts, then Chevrolet, then Silverado, then year, then cab/bed configuration, scroll down to the very bottom and that part number shows up with yet another promissing decscription. Take a look.

I just sent an email to GM requesting a picture of this wheel.... probably "peeing in the wind " but figured it would be worth a try. I will post any response (if any) that I get.
