Are there certain brands of adapters to stay away from due to cracking or poor quality? How much do they usualy cost? does chasis tech have a web site? thanks Josh

Thanks red53gmc for all the info. I think that will be my best bet since i have a set of pro stars with slicks in the same bolt pattern and my ws-6 rims have just been sitting collecting dust for the past year. Josh

I had a 2piece adapter break on my '00 chevy only a few miles after installing them with my 17x9.5 Enkei Win wheels I had left after I sold my T/A. Did about $1200 damage=A-arm,spindle,rotor,rim. Wasn't pleasant when it broke at 70mph..

These are billet adapters and are pretty strong. I drive ***** to the wall all the time and haven't had a problem. And I do look at them every now and then just to make sure.

Mine were billet, but I guess the bolts were not strong enough. Think they were 9/16 or 5/8 though.
