I would imagine so. But it's a reasonable question. I've been tweaking the engine bay on my SS as well. Mater-of-fact, I just picked up some more pieces from the shop.

• Modified Alternator Bracket

• 4" to 3.5" Silicon Elbow Attached to Throttle Body
• 3.5" Aluminum Tube w/ 15 Degree Bend - Two Foot Long Cut to Length
• 3.5" TBolt Hose Clamps (2)
• 3.5" to 3.75" Silicon Hose Adapter Modified to fit on the MAF Sensor
• Modified Dodge Caravan Radiator Hose

This is my daily driver, so its a little dirty. I need to redo the heater hoses so they look a little more presentable. Next project will be to relocate the coil packs and the main wire harness so I can put on custom valve covers.

Where did you route your heater hose?

 

I routed them to the passenger side. The lines do a hard 90 degree turn toward the passenger side up over the AC accumulator.

I cut the heater hoses at the firewall leaving the quick connections in place and added a 90 degree elbows pointing toward the passenger side along with extra section of heater hose added in to connect to the original hose coming out of the water pump. If the worm clamps were black, you would not really notice it.

I need to redo the heater hose "system" without using worm clamps and under sized sharkbite fittings courtesy of the local Home Depot. Its held up this way for about 4 years, but it will need to be redone. The sharkbite fitting are a much smaller outside diameter than the inside diameter of the heater hose, so I cinched down of the hose more than I should. It is just now starting to show wear from doing this. More appropriate fittings should be used to splice and to route the heater hose. The next size up sharkbite fittings have an outside diameter that is too large for the inside diameter of the heater hose.

 

I do believe they actually sell 90 degree heater hose fittings in the help section of most parts stores, i can look sunday when i go into my part time job.... If i dont get out of the full time early enough to go in tomorrow.....

 

At the time, it didn't cross my mind. I was probably shopping for light bulbs or a two by four and decided to piece something together. LOL
