And still not done. I need headers, I need a nice paintable CAI, and the green valve covers are temporary until I can figure out just what color I want the accent to be. These pics were taken during night, and they are iphone pics so not the best at all.

Tore everything out, did all new wireloom, scrubbed everything, did a small amount of polishing on the front of the heads and on the a/c lines but still a lot to do there. Every hose wwas removed, scrubbed

Painted Pewter:

*Brake booster
*Cowl
*Wiper arms
*Intake manifold, fuel rails and lines
*Cover for battery, coolant tank
*Vortec cover
*front cover-bought a new one so it would have the decal on there, taped them off, I think it looks factory like that and awesome
*water pump pulley
*power steering pump pulley
*stock airbox cover for ***** and grins
*LH and RH upper fender to firewall brackets
*RH lower fender to firewall bracket
*coils

Painted gloss black:

*water pump
*tensioner pulley bracket
*alternator and alt bracket
*throttle body

also painted the frame a satin black and some other small things. When I put everything back I tried to route a lot of the wiring together and used some small tiewraps.....

Before

In between

Painted this area satin black as they were faded

tried to straighten the harness out a bit

Anyways, I'm pretty proud of it and these pics do it no justice, youve really got to see it in person to appreciate all the work I did......I cant wait for carshow time, I've already got all the local guys scramblin' to do theirs now. Leave me some feedback....

Looks good, tons better, but why didnt you take the stickers off the front cover and paint the plastic push pins that hold it down why you were at it??

Thanks guys. IMO the stickers look better on there, it looks wierd without them because there is indentions for them in the plastic. I wanted a factory look. I went to the dealership looking for those decals, and you cant buy them except if you buy the whole front cover with them on there. So I bought it, taped the decals off and had it sprayed. I think it looks great.

As for the plastic pins, I think it breaks the pewter up good, thats why I opted to leave them black.

As for the hood liner, that things a yr old and is starting to look shabby again, so I'm going to buy another one. I dont think the underside of the hood is attractive at all what with all its ridges and unfinished pieces. I like the black liner.

So you see, I've pretty much thought of everything and turned it around in my head while this whole ordeal was going on lol.

Thanks for the nice comments. I'll be able to get way better pics tomorrow with an actual camera. Sik02 I'll send you a pm
