This engine compartment thread is a good idea! I hate vehicles that have dirty engine compartments. They're not as fun to work on under the hood and it looks really bad on an otherwise clean vehicle.

Do you think the blue is too rice? I thought it kinda looked nice...it matches the Volant, and I have some blue going on in the interior (Denali cluster, vacuum guage lighting, and 1 small neon light that's hidden under the center of the dash, behind the console). I've been contemplating removing it, but when I look at it, I think it kinda sets the engine bay off a bit.

 

I won't be posting mine. LOL Although, I don't keep the outside clean enough to even give a you clue that I just might care what it looks like.

On the good side, damn nice engine bays on here. Freaking carbon fiber!!!!

Here's my engine back in March- most internals are out and this was for fab work to see how high the ic sits and how it will work in my hood. Some of the pipes have been swapped out and the ic pipes are now hard pipes- and it has new heads and the block was worked by autoshop as well as some other new mods so a ton has been done since this pic. But it will be in the truck and running next week- then dyno and track tuning. Clevite didnt send the crank bearings with the rod and mains so they just got here yesterday, so now assembly woohoo.
