Not sure what wheel/tire combo your brother had to cause his rubbing issues, but I am not experiencing any and I have 20" wheels with 285/50s up front. I can go full lock in both directions and the tire will barely even kiss the rear fender well liner about mid way up, like it barely leaves a smudge on the liner. My wheels are 20x8.5" wide and have a 19MM Offset with 5.5" Back Spacing.
