i was going to order some handles that are color matched, is the 2003 avalanche "red" the same color as the 06 sierra i believe its victory red....... was going to order them from gmpartsdirect if they are the same just want to be for sure since i dont think they made a tahoe or sub in that color?? or did they?!?!? thanks

 

it should be the same color. I think they did make both a tahoe and suburban in victory red also. The RPO code for vic red is 74U, it'll be in the glove box.

 

Check your paint code. It's in the glove box on the the Id sticker at the very bottom an will start with wa or u-xxxx. To the best of my knowledge there are 3 reds. One is a Burgandy color think it's called Redfire Metallic. Victory Red is the pure red color. Then there is that purple-red they brought out in 03-04. They will all vary slightly due to year and paint batch from the factory but will not be significant in color difference especially in a small part you wont notice. Judging by the pic in your sig it's victory red.
