James, I'm sure that you've posted all about this on the "other" boards, but I'm curious about a few things that I can see from these pics....

1) I know your truck started as a six banger...which harness did you use for the swap, the F-car or the truck harness? Or did you combine the two?

2) Did you have any problems w/ clearance on the A/C compressor? Did you use the car compressor?

3) Did the PS hoses connect up to the car PS pump. Any performance issues w/ this pump?

Thanks man!

Chit...it's test time

1) the Wiring harness is a Street & Performance custom built one.
2) the A/C compressor is close...but it fits. and it's the car one...actually, everything is the f-body except the intake, headers, PCM, and motor mounts...those are all 5.3.
3) no probs at all with the PS pump or connections.

I have had a few people ask me about the V-6 to V-8 swap in these trucks, but my main reason for asking is I'm looking to switch the accessories out on my truck so I can run the car-style intake. I know there are easier/cheaper ways to do it, but I think the car accessories look much cleaner than the truck stuff. I have the PS pump/reservior/bracket, the alt bracket (no alt), the A/C bracket (no compressor), and the water pump. Just have a few more odds and ends to get like a new balancer, the accessories, and the actual intake itself.

One more question...did you run the 97-98 Corvette fuel rails so you could go w/ a return system?
