Here's a picture of the box I built for my flame Qs. It's got all the needed airspace and we shaped it to tuck under the top plastic piece. We did alot of measuring, but we finally got the sucker in.Wish I could find our measurements.

Nice. Do you have to move your seat up to let them bump or can you have the seat all the way back and turn em up?
Just want to know if you have the same problem I'm going to have...I guess I'm cursed with too much height

I kinda know how you feel. My first truck was a reg cab and I had 2 12" behind the seat. I only had to move it up one notch, and I was a little crunched. It was not that bad, but I am only 5'8". Good luck!

8's can be good, but if you listen to rock or rap, they will not hit the deep low bass like a 10 or 12 can. .02

I've had 10's and 12s before, and to me, these are perfect. They hit all the low stuff just as well and do better at the punchy metal/rock stuff. I dont do rap so the low-long-loud bass isn't an issue, even tho these will do that as well. They aren't the kind of sub that can be heard 30 yards away tho like 12s. But I'm sitting a few inches away....so it works out.
