i picked up my 04 today. the fenderflares are black along with door handles and mirrors.

are there already painted fenderflares and door handles and mirrrors i can slap on like on the escalades. or is there a part number for the smooth fenderflares, doorhandles, and mirrors that i can just paint over cause it looks like its gonna be a bitch to sand down the stock ones

The trucks, Tahoes, Suburbans, etc. that have the LT trim package (leather) come with painted door handles, flares, and front bumber cover. These parts will easily interchange. You can get them at GMpartsdirect.com. They also pop up on ebay from time to time already painted.

try ebay man , i put white door handels and white mirror caps on my z71 ( already had white fender flares from factory ) and they were cheap . 55$ for mirrors and 65$ for door handels . factory painted in gm boxs . fender flares should be the same and should be able to find them .

 

ok front bumper is chrome with the black textured part on top. does gm sell the painted version that would be the painted part on top of the chrome bumper?

 

no , your on your own with that one . only tahoes have painted top pad and it s a different bumper so were out of luck

 

Another option would be to buy an SS bumper (or bumper cap) if you like just an all painted front bumper...

I saw an Avy the other day with just the pads painted on a stock bumper (the de-cladded version with the truck's front end). It looked slick I'll have to snap a picture next time I see it...
