I wouldn't put an HID kit in the stock headlamps because it won't be like the BMW and Mercedes. You will have major glare and the light will spread everywhere, I've seen it myself.
Having HIDs is 50% of it, the other 50% is the housing. There put together is what gives you that awesome HID look.
The Denali projectors are the perfect candidate for an HID set up on the GMC trucks, Chevy trucks have the option of getting the Xenarcs, which for about $500 you get the HID bulbs, ballasts and reflector headlamp. They're on my sister's Silvy and they look awesome.

Default Headlight swap

Does anyone know if the wiring is different for the Denali headlights than the regular Sierra because I know that that the Denali headlights use 9005 size bulbs.... And I wanted to know if the only thing different is the wiring..

plug and play dood, no worries about the wiring, you'll see how they hook up if you get them.

all you have to do is wire in the plug for the 9005 bulbs. the denali headlights use high beam bulbs for both high and low beams so you just have to switch the plug. i bought the plugs for mine at autozone but i think most places will have them.

Here's a pic I found of them with HIDs in it. Cool huh?
