Yeah ,sorry I mean just the grill not the insert. Thats what I thought. I think the front end would look better painted dont you?? I am just not a real big fan of chrome unless its on wheels you know. I am leaving the chrome molding off too. And if I can get the chrome mirrors painted I will.

actually I believe on the 02 maybe 03 and earlier C3 and Denali's, they come from the factory black. See attachment picture.

I have not seen it in paintable black but you could always paint the chrome one.

That would look sweet having that part of the grill painted to match the truck.

Yeah I really like the way the grills look when they are painted but they want like $380.00 for the factory grill. And then I would have to sand off all of the brand new chrome just to paint it. It's probably just mor e trouble and its gonna cost more money!!!!

OH! the truck is still around, just cleaning up the front end look a lil bit, I have some new headlights on the way, put some clear turn signals on, then going to get a billet GMC emblem on there and pretty much be done with it as far as appearance. After that I'll probably pay down some of my bills and then start cracking into the motor, thanks for asking.

So how's the new casa?
