Looking close to 200 I think two front door handles are almost 100 if I remember correctly.

No prob man i was just tryin to see how much i am looking at so i can get some money set aside. i have to get through this month before i know for a fact i can do something.

Basically i was wondering how much you would charge me to smooth and paint all 4 door handles and the bezels, my tailgate handle and bezel and my mirror caps. the only "black plasitic" i wanna have exposed is the mirror supports.
i will help you find the parts to paint so you don't have to buy more parts if that will help the price and you out.
Just let me know because i will probably have you do this since you come so highly regarded.

that would be great. i posted some pics in the gm general discussion. If i find you all of the parts i want you to paint so you dont have to find them, how much am i looking at? like i said i just wanna make sure i get some money set aside. fell free to PM the price if you feel more comfortable. and something you might wanna know is that the handles i have on my truck now are REALLY smooth compared to the ones off of my 03 silverado. It seems like there is no texture to them at all.

You can probably find smooth and painted door handles through gm. Most likely a suburban, tahoe or yukon. It probably will cost you more to paint yours than to buy these. In order to paint properly they need to be disassembled. the problem with that is that they are bradded together and you have to drill out and find a new way to reassemble. I always bought smooth painted versions for a rear door to get rid of keyholes (had to swap the springs from my fronts to these but thats easy) As for tailgate handle you just hand sand smooth .I always did it with 100 then 180 or 220, and then I would seal them and then high build prime them followed by wet sanding sometimes have to high build and wet sand again. Same with the bezellIt usually took me an hour or so from stock to smooth and painted(still wet though) This can be done by any shop. it's not something they can screw up. (Bodywork is another story). If you see a vehicle with the smooth handles in your color I can get you a part #. Dealership will give you runaround and tell you they need a vin. There just to to lazy to look it up.
