Default Denali conversion

has anyone converted to a denali grill shell and kept the original sierra bumper cap?

i highly doubt you can, look at the difference in the denali grille, its curved at the bottom and the stock has a dip that comes down in the middle

You have to change the whole front end (Not the hood or fenders) but the bumper and grill and lights have to be changed. I wanna say its about 2500 to do it but Im not sure. There is a thread somewhere with all the parts you will need.

I kinda figured that, tryed to install the grille last sat and found it wasn't going to clear the cap.

Guess I have to find a bumper now, thanks for the reply's

there is no cheap way out, everything is expensive for this conversion. I paid about 1300 for the fiberglass reinforcement, bumper cover and the grill. let me know if you want it, looking to trade for stock grill and bumper and some cash. let me know.

I think the shipping costs would kill me. I'm hoping to find a pewter version to save on repainting 1.

The worst part about this is my buddy had a complete bumper in the summer that he offered to my brother for free, my brother wasn't interested though and now it's gone

just throw the denali lights on with the stock grill, im gettin a chrome grill soon, gotta do away with the old plastic
