well i removed the tail gate molding now i got a yellow strip where the sliverado molding was how can i get rid of it any one eles have this problem
its a eye sore cause the truck is white

Goof off, goo gone, whatever, adhesive remover. Make sure to wash/wax the tailgate after using it though.

Debadged white looks awesome.

 

I use 3M adhesive remover, then clay bar, then polish & wax.

You'd think that it would be whiter underneath huh? It should come clean pretty easily ...claybar etc. I have some strange yellowing on the paint between the cab and bed. Hard to reach, but came clean pretty easily. -My truck is white too.
