Has anyone removed the big grab handle above the glove box? I am going to have it upholstered and was just wondering how it was held on.

 

you have to remove the ac vents under it on each side. then put your hand up in there and there is a button thet you push. you have to keep doing it on both sides and keep going back and forth. the concept is similar to the head resr locks in the 99 and down moddels.

when you reach in the vent hole it is up and in a little. o and the vents just pull out.
