There is a jacked up black avalanche running around our town with black rims, does not look very nice! I think the only color you can pull the black rims off with is white. IMHO

I think that Black wheels look awesome with basically any stock color paint. pewter, black, white, dark green, red, yellow etc. Black goes with everything

I wanted to go with the black Rt-S from the day i saw them. And then a guy that lives within a mile from me put em on his white Tahoe. I think they'll look good on a slate colored truck. Go for it!

we'll see. I don't want to spend a bunch on wheels just now. so I bought TxSilverado 05 silvy wheels. Something a little different for cheap, pending him recieving his new wheels. I'll do some more go mods and stick with thses for now.

If I go this route, I will likely look for some gunmetal with a polished lip. I have to reference that vette I saw a while back. Thing looked mean with gunmetal wheels.

I really like slammedGMC's look. My ride only has a 2" shackle drop in the rear and black gloss wheels may be a little much.

Thanks for the input fellas.

I think black wheels look really good on pewter. I wasn't actually too crazy about Silver Birch when I saw my truck...but it really grew on me. Does anyone have a side by side pic of pewter and silver birch? Or is it the same color just different name?

I think it looks goo with the RIGHT black wheel... not just any black rin thrown on a pewter truck will cut it IMO...
