the flipper door is ran off of vacuum. like the old chevelles. under wot it would open to allow
air into the motor. i think that hood has the same feature if you buy the kit for it. if not
you can still use the door but it will blow on to your airbox

Z284thgen, if thats an east coast customs hood (it appears to be) then thats the one i have. the scoops are bigger and toward the back of the hood stay taller than on most other hoods. its not functional though.
