Oakley, that looks very nice, tasteful. What all was involved in do that, how much of a pita was the extra wiring. Not to say the others doesn't look nice, but yours looks the best IMO.

Thanks guys... It was definitely a project. It took around a week working on it at night after work. First I traced the stock cluster out on black plexiglass. And used hole saws for the gauge pattern. Then I wired all of the like wires together on each gauge. So all the grounds together, all the key hot wires together ect. That way I only had to splice into one wire inside the dash. I wired the illumination wire to the stock rocker brightness switch so I could adjust the brightness when needed. All said and done, it works exactly like the stock cluster but looks 10x better imo.

How did you determine which wires drive the spedo, tach ext, and what about the idiot lights, do they still show up ?

Nice job by the way.

You can get the signals from the pins on the pcm. That's the way I did mine. pin 10 on the green or red connector depending on year is the rpm. 21 or 22(i don't have my book in front of me right now) is for speed. 54 I believe is for the fuel level. I installed a oil pressure sending unit in spot above the oil filter and a engine coolant temp sending unit in the head for water temp. For the "idiot" lights, I forget which wire it is, but you can tap in the harness behind the gauges. Someone actually told me which one it is in another thread I made. My turn signals and bright light indicator both function

Speedo is spliced into the speed sensor, the tach is spliced into the white tach output with a 12v jumper wire, and what are idiot lights? haha

So you have all the wires tapped into the orange/tanish wire on the roller/dimmer switch? Havn't had a issue with popping fuses?

Yes I do. All the illumination wires are connected to the dimmer. Surprisingly, it works great. I thought it might be a problem but it turned out to be the way to go.
