I have the standard AM/FM CD that comes in my 04 GMC, and I was wondering if anyone knew for sure that the front door speakers are components, or the standard 6 3/4" 2 way speakers. Also, I'm stuck between Pioneer, or Kenwood. What's everyone's thoughts on these? Crutchfield tells me the 1.5din units won't work in my situation.

 

If you have door panels like this one you have 6-1/2 component.
As far as deck brands I think most big major brand name are close to equal.
Pick the features you want and the brand you like the best.
I prefer Eclipse as #1, then Panisonic,Clarion,Pioneer,Kenwood, Sony

All the good brands are not sold online. If they are it's not a good idea to buy them as it's noth authorized by manufactures to do so.

Ohh, 03'+ GM trucks are double din. Not 1.5din anymore.
