Default Cold air!

alright guys im thinking about getting a cold air intake for my 08 silverado. idk if i should get one.. bcs idk if they really work on gas or hp. or if its just a waste of money. but what do you guys think? and if so what kind should i get?

in show&shine? come on..

get a smooth tube that runs from the TB to the box, get a drop in k&n, and cut out the bottom of the stock air box, thats all you need....

its more efficient, you might get 5rwhp and 1mpg more lol, cai's arent anything crazy...but hey, might as well go ahead and do it, its somewhat cheap. i'll find a thread where a guy used pvc and ran it to the air box and ran the k&n drop it and cut out the bottom of the stock air box

by smooth tube you can get the volant tube, afe tube, aem tube, just a round intake tube instead of the stock, i have a k&n, the full setup, i got mine used off ebay for $100 shipped, but they are kinda hard to ome by, and if i did it over again, i would do what gs7793 said. save your 250-300 and put it elsewhere imo
