Default Updated Clearing factory headlights! Finished pics

I have been trying to clear the stock headlight on my truck for about 3hrs already and just got the first one open. What a PINTA!! I hope they come out good and make it all worth wild of this aggravation.

I did mine on my 01 a few months ago it took me about an hour for both of them. Th trick is to take a hair dryer and heat the lenses where they separate to release the glue. Oh and it is defenitely worth it when its done.

Well after more hours than I'd like to admit I finished the headlights. Now I just hope they don't get any moisture from a bad sealing job or something! I have never seen them cleared in person and was suprized to find that it wasn't completely smooth underneath the amber lens. What I mean is that there is 3 grooves where the amber lens tabs lock into place. My truck is a 2005, did the older headlights as in 99 up to 05 also have these grooves?

Here are a couple pics of my truck with the cleared lights installed. The last pic shows the 3 grooves I was wondering if the pre 05 headlights has once cleared.
