Default Clear Lights?? Need HELP!!!

Ok I need a solution. I need clear headlights and turn signals.
Does anyone have any advice on some that are made well and still light up the road ok at night.

I want good quality and something thats not made by APC.
I would rather not bake them to separate them to take out the orange piece because my friends have done this and the lights fog up very bad and it looks like crap.....any ideas/advice would be great!!

They probably didn't re-silicone them well enough! I just did mine a few weekends ago.... and it's rained 3 times... no problems...

And if you don't wanna bake them.. i've also heard that fishing line will cut through the existing seal...

You just have to make sure they are put back together with enough glue......mod your stock ones...... looks the best in my opinion.

Is there anywhere where I can go figure out how to do this the right way. The way that Laynlow77 did it? I want them to come out good.

I used a heat gun to heat mine up to soften the glue....lots use an oven but i didnt want to....basically you have to heat the lamps up enough so the glue softens then the front will pop off.....the refelctors just pop out......get ALL the old glue off and re seal it with silicone......its that simple just take your time and it will come out right.

How hot does the oven need to be?
How long do they stay in there?
what can I use to take off the silicone?
and what kind of silicone should I use to re-seal them?

Not sure on the oven temp since i never used one but i would imagine not to to hot since you dont want to melt the headlamp....that would suck. I could tell mine were hot enough when the plastic was getting a tad bit rubbery....i then used a butter knife and started prying the edges and she almost fell off.....I dont think there is a good way to get the silicone off....i just picked at mine for an hour or so till it was pretty darn good....I think any type of silicone would do.....ive heard of ppl using that black tar looking stuff and i just used some normal clear industrial silicone i got from work....you could use pretty much any kind since its mostly all the same...like the kind for sealing around windows and tubs even but it might look kinda weird.
