i have the black on black as well, but with the halo rings. I havent had any problems with them leeking, but the light does suck ***. The high beams are like factory low beams... If you live in the city they are allright but once you get somewhere their arent 1000 streetlights it kinda sucks. I would go with a pair of denali lamps and get clear chrome bumper lights.

Not very smart IMO to rely on FOG LIGHTS as your main source of lights.

If you want something different than the denali lights try looking at the ones from TYC. They have chrome or black housings. I talked to a guy a couple weekends ago at a cruise night with the chrome TYC's and he said they're great. No issues with leaking and the light output is really bright on them. I think F8L has them on his GMC as well with a set of HID's in them.

Yea, I was curious as to how well the TYC's perform... Hopefully someone can chime in.

Anyone ever heard of any problems with JDM products? I like the TYC's, but they don't make black corner lenses so I would have to get them from another company. But if JDM are the ones that don't put out enough light, then I'll get the TYC headlights and the corner lenses from someone else...dont really care if the corner markers give off alot of light as long as they match the headlights.

I've never seen black corner lenses for the GMC's. Not saying they don't exist though, just never seen them. If you're wanting them to match you could always get a set of clear corners and paint the inside a flat black. Just make sure to put a good bead of silicone around them so they don't leak when you put them back together.

Im pretty sure the ones I have are JDM, which are the ones that suck, But i dont see why you cant mux and match a different brand headlight with another bumper light. But from what I hear the TYC bumperlights are good, if you end up getting the headlights, let me know how well they work compaired to stock.
