I have a 2006 RCSB Chvy. I to build a solid (no rattles rattles and squeeks) center console but would like to stay away from any fiberglass. What are some of your suggestions? How should I go about starting off and what materials to use whatever. Give me some input guys.

 

start by making it out of piece of cardboard to get the general shape, then transfer that shape to particle board, then I suggest fiberglassing that and touch up with bondo, then paint..
