I guess I'll probably do something similar.
These 06 rear windows are freakin dark.

I live in snow country, so I'll just have to make sure they are protected, since I back into snowbanks all the time to load/unload the sled.
I might tie my cargo lamp to the reverse lights also, for a higher angle light back there.

What about putting some kinda of LED bulbs in there? I know when I went camping I used the cargo lamps to light up the camp ground, they worked really well but they turned off after a certain time and I kept having to go back and turn them on again. A little brighter would be nice.

One thing that helped me, was to put the '03 and up Silverado lights in, the reverse lights are alot brighter. They look alot better too.

Good tip.

But do they make it any faster?

I guess I would be doing a favor to the people I beat in a race. They would get to see my beautiful new chevy taillights!

Those tails are spendy, I think I'll blow $25 on some auxillary lights for now... I need a tt2600, injectors, posi, Dry shot... oh yeah, built tranny...

No, not any faster... too bad yeah, they are pretty spendy, I ran across a deal on ebay is the only reason i bought them... The performance mods are expensive, that's why I dont have any of those
