Default the cancer

i love my sliding rear winndow on my 99 silverado. bit its git rust bubbling up along the entire length of the topside,some looks like i might be able to pot through it. anyone else having rust problems with a sliding rear window? im thinking og getting a normal one and having the cancer fixed, im afraid of whats under the window seal.

I honestly dont think the sliding rear window had anything to do with it, first time I heard of rust forming there actually, get it fixed and get the slider put back in IMO

Is the window frame itself rusting? Mine is metal also (the first few factory ones were plastic but the frames kept cracking until the dealer finally put an aftermarket CR Lawrence rear slider in), but it's going on about 8 years so far so good...

i love mine at it dont have a spot of rust on it. thats a weird place to get rust
