Just curious if 35's will fit on an '03 Sierra Z71 with just a 3" body lift, and ford keys to bring up the front end? Call me cheap, but I can't swing the money for a suspension lift (yet), but don't want to settle for 33's if I don't have to. I don't plan on doing a lot of off-roading... but ya never know, so what kind of clearance issues would I have?

Your problem would be with the front tires rubbing a lot. You might be able to get away with shaving the air dam/lower spoiler but really doubt it with just a 3" body lift. If you somehow fit 35"s under there, I highly recommend 4.10 gears to turn those things. And if you do go ahead with this, don't forget you'll have to change your front diff's gear ratio as well. I think you should stick to 33"s and save yourself some headaches. Just my opinion.

no, you will tear up your tires and fenders real quick. i have a 98 2500 suburban with the same thing that you are talking about and i barely clear them, and i have 2" more than you from the factory because its a 2500, and the wheel wells are bigger on the old body style. the only way you could pull it off is with a set of fender flares or flared fenders

Okay, that's enough convincing for me... just thought I'd ask. Thanks guys. I'll have to wait a couple years and do the suspension lift. 33's it is. Thanks again. <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

You can check out some of the pics in the sig. I have the 3" body lift, ford keys, and a bigger block in the rear. The tires do rub in the front. I cut the bottom of the plastic off, and they shouldn't rub anymore, once I zip tie them back. The front air dam will also need to be trimmed.
35's.
35's.
