99-02 all the chevy trucks share the same bumpers just different bumper caps. you should just get the hd grille and see if it will fit with your stock bumper. i have a feeling it will.

EDIT: well maybe not after i look at it some more. i wonder. what if you put the hd grille on it with a gmc front bumper hmmm

The bumper mount needs to be spaced down and then add the HD bumper cap and grille. I may need someone to paint them for me

im telling you i think a gmc bumper will work on there and you wont have to cut your frame and move the mounting points down. borrow a gmc bumper and watch it work. i think there was a guy on gmfullsize trying to sell a gmc front end also.

I want the chevy bumper to allow a "custom" valance for some extra airflow into the grille.

what does a hd valance look like? i know what you want it for but man thats going to be alot of work. if you were close to me id like to help but dang your a long ways off. your going to have to cut off the front frame horns and lower them down then weld it back up and make sure you gusset(sp?) it good for strength.

Eh when the motor is out again Ill pull the front clip off to clean the frame and recoat it and do the mounts at the same time. I have access to a welder I believe so Ill get it done some way. The HD lower valance just has a slit between the tow hooks pewter02(i think thats his SN over on GMFS) has one on his truck and so does slowprocess on here I may go with that one or get a guy back in Houston to mold me one up. I dont know yet I just want to get the HD grille on first and the bumper mounted up then go from there. The bumper cap for the HD is just talled like the one that was posted. I will need to get the cap from you and of course it would need to be painted. I may also need to get the grille also from you if you feel like messing with it. Ill send you a PM.
