Bumper Splitters for Trucks?

5 Attachment(s)
Ok so some of you guys know me from posting the New Custom wing that i designed. Welp, some guys at from the Lightning Forum have quizzed me on a splitter and it didnt take me much for me to come up with one. I get that this might be "too much" or "too ricer" for some and if thats the case then thats cool but for those who might be interested or have thought about one, welp, you might be in luck. This is not a fiberglass "Lip", this is a big ass plate that covers the bottom of the bumper as a real splitter supposed to. I've seen a few trucks here and there trying to have some sort of a "Lip" on their truck but look a bit funny. Another reason why i decided to make a legit splitter that also acts as a lip. Take a look at my design and let me know what you guys think...Obviously its for a lightning but its enough to give you a rough idea.

-Made out of 3/16" Aluminum Plate
-Mounted to the Frame via 4 brackets and not the bumper
-4 Point Mount for quick and easy dismount
-Fully adjustable, Tilt down/up and Slide In/out
-Adjustment Rods are more or less for looks.

Ive had a few sparks of interests here and there along with some asking about making one for them but dont really seem to be 100% sure with the exception of one guy who seem pretty legit with his 2012 GMC.
Just want to see how much interest there is here.

I dig it on that lightning man! Looks damn good, not sure it would look as good on a gm tho.

And how exactly does it attach to the bottom of the bumper?

Ahh gotcha. What about the two rods in front? Are they attached onto the body?

The Rods are attached to the bumper. But they are more or less just for looks. The Splitter can be supported without the adjustment rods

I really like it,but unsure if you can pull it off with a chevy/gmc...looks awsome on the lighting

What performance advantage does a mod light this offer?

I always thought those things were for planting the front tires on a high powered fwd at high speed?

Bumper splitters for Trucks

Would be interested in one for my 2007 Silverado Classic and also my 2005 GMC Sierra. I use the 2007 (2006 Model Produced Before the NNBS Were Produced) for autocrossing and depending on the design would definitely be interested. Would be willing to work with you on the design!!
